In this post, I will show how to use the Range Validator to validate a range of date using today’s date as the maximum value. The Text Box control is added where the users will enter the value. The Range Validator is added – its Control To Validate property is set to Text Box’s id, data type is set to Date, the minimum value is set to an arbitrary date. Now, try running the website, and enter a date in our new Text Box.It's only valid if the date is within 2006, and a cool sideeffect is that the date is also checked for validity. You can use it to validate both numbers, strings and dates, which can make it useful in a bunch of cases.Since we validated numbers the last time, we will try with a date this time.
